class pyinterp.reduced_gaussian.Mesh(self, latitudes: numpy.ndarray[dtype=float64, shape=(*), order='C'], points_per_parallel: numpy.ndarray[dtype=int64, shape=(*), order='C'])#

Bases: object

A reduced Gaussian mesh: parallels of equally spaced points, north to south, starting at longitude 0.

Build the mesh from the latitudes of its parallels (strictly decreasing) and their number of points.

Attributes

latitudes

Latitudes of the parallels.

ny

Number of parallels.

offsets

Flat index of the first point of each parallel, then the number of points.

points_per_parallel

Number of points of each parallel.

size

Number of points.

Public Methods

locate(self, lon[, shape, writable, shape, ...])

Locate the cells of points: the flat indices of their four corners (bottom right, bottom left, top right, top left; -1 outside the mesh) and their bilinear weights.

Special Methods
