Axes

Axes hold the coordinates of each dimension of a grid. Use Axis for numeric coordinates, periodic ones included (e.g. longitudes with period=360), and TemporalAxis for numpy.datetime64 coordinates; the axes are then combined with the data in a Grid (see Grid Structures).

Classes

Axis(self, values[, shape, writable])	Create a coordinate axis for variable values.
TemporalAxis(self, points[, epsilon, period])	Temporal axis for datetime64 or timedelta64 values.
