pyinterp.geohash.where#
- pyinterp.geohash.where(hash: object) dict#
Get the bounds of the region covered by each geohash code in a 2D array.
Returns a dictionary mapping each distinct geohash code to the smallest and largest row and column indexes at which it occurs in the input array. The bounds cover all the occurrences of a code, whether they are adjacent or not.
- Parameters:
hash – 2D array of GeoHash codes (numpy string array).
- Returns:
Dictionary where keys are geohash codes (as bytes) and values are tuples of ((min_row, max_row), (min_col, max_col)) in the input array.
