PeriodList.is_close(self, date: object, tolerance: object) → bool

Check if the given date is within tolerance of any period in the list.

Parameters:

• date – A numpy.datetime64 scalar.

• tolerance – The tolerance margin as a numpy.timedelta64 scalar.

Returns:

True if the date is within tolerance of any period, False otherwise.
