The WHISPER housekeeping datasets contain information about pulse emission used for the WHISPER sounding on Cluster-1. 

Sounding Pulse time tag
Frequency value (kHz) of the emitted sinusoidal wave train
Peak-to-peak amplitude of the emitted pulse (V)
Duration of the emission (ms)
Confidence flag which shows the instantaneous status of the WHISPER sounder :
   0 : Sounder OFF 
   1 : Sounder ON
